Biography

Chris was born in the UK, however these days he calls new zealand his home after moving out here with his family. His Christian music ministry established itself after he released his first track 'Angels Song' back in 2005. He has continued to write songs since then, using a handful of instruments and home recording equipment to record and produce each track. Up to this point Chris has written, recorded and produced over 40 tracks, and produced a number of Eps and CD's. A number of his songs have seen local, national, and international airplay and media coverage. Chris's musical style and genres move through acoustic, rock, praise & worship and guitar instrumental. One reviewer put Chris in the class of "Fresh new Christian Music". 
 
In 2006 Chris won the Pacific songwriting contest with his home recording of 'Rest in Me'. Branded by Crossrhythms as an 'up and coming Christian artist and guitarist'. His overall passion for Christian music extends from his personal ministry to a global network. For 3 years Chris managed, funded and developed  an international Christian music site www.mycrossfactor.com. This internet site supported hundreds of Christian artists and bands. MyCrossfactor wasn't just a music site it was also a networking community site that helped artists connect their ministries and missionary work.
  
After a 'born again' experience as a teenager, he has made it his life to help, support and encourage people move forwards in their lives. Most songs that Chris has recorded reflect his Christian heart and experience,  with a strong desire to enrich, encourage and empower people in a positive direction. Chris is also a registered nurse, and has been working in the mental health field for many years, taking research based practice to help others in life. Depression is a particular area that Chris gets involved in, finding ways to help people come out of the despair, isolation and distress that it can cause. Chris is a firm believer in the help and healing that Cognitive therapy can bring when addressing both anxiety and depression.

Currently Chris is taking a rest from managing the MyCrossfactor site and will be working on a new CD over the next year. We hope and pray that Chris 's music and overall ministry will encourage and bring something positive into your very special life.
