Biography

With a voice described by many as "healing" and "angelic", Jean Watson is quietly but passionately the healing love of Christ through her music. Jean's sound is otherworldly and eclectic, drawing on classical, folk, and pop influences. Trained as a classical musician, Jean uses her skills as singer, violinist, songwriter, and arranger to create her own unique genre.

Though a woman of small physical stature, one cannot be around Jean for long without being touched by her huge passion for God and her deep compassion for people. It is this love - this childlike belief that even small things can change the world - that drives Jean. Her purpose is to share faith and hope with as many as possible, using all her gifts to breathe hope to the hurting. And her music does that. Her listeners are touched...sometimes not knowing by what or why. Jean has performed in churches across the United States and England and donates as much of her CD sales as possible to charities around the world.

"Unveiled" is Jean's first CD using the talents of Irish producer Joni McCabe and the City of Prague Philharmonic. For the first time, we hear Jean's talent enhanced by some of Europe's finest musicians. The songs, the arrangements, the performances are excellent in their own right. The heart behind the music shines and inspires...even beyond what the ear can hear.
