Biography

Hey there.... Afterthoughts..... what are they? They are the thoughts that come after the initial point has already hit you in the face and then left a mark..... and thats what we as a band wanted to be when we became Afterthought... we wanted the message of God's enduring love and faithfulness to be the focus, not our crazy punk riffs and beats...... Out here in the magical land of Colorado, we had been playing together in worship bands for about 5 years, when Joe and Ben decided that they wanted to do something that would reach out to the people that dont know what it is that we had been worshipping! So Afterthought was formed with just the two of them... Ben on drums/vocals, and Joe on Guitar/vocals......Later they would be joined by Jon on Bass/vocals......Together they have written and preformed many songs, doing shows in colorado, Kansas, and Nebraska! As you listen to the music of Afterthought, you dont hear songs about sex, drugs, and rock and roll..... nope..... instead you hear songs about purity, love, being content with God's plan, and just an overall message of hope.
